A long coat does not tangle because it is dirty. It tangles because the cuticle is rough and the hairs catch on each other. This smooths the cuticle down so the comb runs clean.

How to use it
Squeeze the worst of the water out first, or you are conditioning a puddle.
Work it through the length, keeping it off the skin at the roots.
Leave two minutes, then rinse until the coat squeaks slightly.
Comb while damp, never once dry.

Frequently asked questions
Why not just use human shampoo?
Because it is built for a different skin. Human skin sits around pH 5.5, dog and cat skin closer to neutral. One bath does no harm. A year of monthly baths in it is harder on the skin barrier than it needs to be.
Is it safe if my dog or cat licks it?
We formulate on the assumption that some of every product ends up licked off, because sooner or later it does. No product contains essential oils, and every full ingredient list will be on the product page before launch.
From what age can these be used?
Age guidance is printed on each product page and label once the final formula is confirmed. Until then, ask us before using anything on a puppy or kitten.
How often should I bathe my dog?
Every four to six weeks suits most dogs. More often does not give the skin barrier time to rebuild. Between baths, wipes and the mist do the work.
